Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Inclusion
At Finders Keepers of Maine, we believe that everyone—regardless of ability—should have the opportunity to discover unique vintage treasures and high-quality 3D prints. We are committed to ensuring our digital "shop window" is accessible to the widest possible audience.
What We Are Doing
We are actively working to improve the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities.
Some of the steps we are taking include:
-
Providing Alt-Text descriptions for our vintage finds and 3D printed products.
-
Ensuring our website maintains a high level of color contrast for easy reading.
-
Using a clear, navigable layout that works with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
A Work in Progress
Because we deal with unique, one-of-a-kind vintage items and custom 3D designs, we are constantly uploading new photos and descriptions. We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing journey, and some parts of our site may be in the process of being updated.
